(Why would go through the trouble of doing this? I transferred my HQ to a city that gave all units 3 plus unit tier bonus armor and +1 shields. I've been friends/integrations with 4 NPC's on a large map using the celestian secret tech. Vanguard get another doctrine that boost influence rewards. If you're celestian you also get a doctrine that decreases the wait time for new quests. The negotiator doctrine give you a influence discount when you buy stuff from them. The emissary doctrine with give you more influence from completing quests. Getting 3 or more NPC factions to like you is doable but it takes a dedicated effort. However, if you take the "do quest instead" option when their demands show up, completing that quest will give you a slight relations penalty with the other factions just like doing other quests. Accepting their demands also gives a +5 relations bonus. That is very significant, and doubly so if you are playing a faction (such as Vanguard or Syndicate) that have amazing vehicles to mount your character in. Vehicle start alone saves him 11 skill points. Buying stuff with influence from them increases your relations without upsetting the other factions. The weapon perks are all really useful just because they save your commander quite a few skill points. Getting two NPC factions to like you isnt that hard.
